Had a great time up at The Pines opening with the gallery director, Marty Rudolph- who did a wonderful job hanging an inspired selection of my paintings! Special thanks to photographer extraordinaire – Jennifer Alyse. Check out her beautiful web page at jenniferandjennifer.com.

I’ll be the featured artist this month, so come see my  new paintings from my People in Landscape, Big Fruit, Doll Still Life and Wine Bottle Still Life series.

See my work at SKIN, the latest group show at The North Bank Artists Gallery

SKIN runs from June 3 – 29, 2010

For June, North Bank member artists take as inspiration the word SKIN in all its different connotations. Young skin, old skin, human skin, animal skin, pudding skin, or the skin of your teeth, any way skin can be interpreted.

Mediums will be diverse and will include: paint, prints, photography, multi and mixed mediums, latex, ceramic and performance. In addition, a tattoo artist will be in attendance on First Friday, as will a piercing performance artist.

This show should be equal parts beautiful and horrifying, traditional and radical, contemplative and in your face.
