Now you have another reason to get out of the city and visit Manzanita! I am pleased to announce that another gallery on the Oregon Coast has chosen to represent my seascape paintings. You can now see my latest seascape work at the Coast Gallery every weekend! And while you are there, experience the inspiration for these paintings first hand and enjoy everything that makes our Oregon beaches so special!
Big Fruit Paired with Organic Wine
While my subjects in my Big Fruit paintings each have their own story to tell, they are are also the part of another story: the journey to a great glass of wine. To enjoy the miracle of both, head out to Hood River to taste my juicy Big Fruit paintings and pure natural organic wine at the Cerulean Skies Tasting Room. I will be there for the First Friday opening reception 5 to 9 pm August 3 to talk about my work while sampling the wine and listening to live music, and I would love to see you there! My work will only be showing August 3 – September 4, 2012, so don’t miss an opportunity for a wine tasting excursion next month.
The tasting room at Cerulean Skies is open 12 to 6 pm Wednesdays through Sundays.

My love of the beauty and majesty of the Oregon Coast had led to a series of seascapes that will be exhibited at the RCC FireHouse Gallery in Grants Pass this July. These vibrant and richly textured oil paintings explore the peace and the power of our coastal landscape, and I hope you will share this journey with me at the First Friday Art Night reception July 6 2012. The show runs from July 6 to July 26 if you cannot make it to the reception.
Artwork by local, regional, national, and international emerging artists which challenges preconceived ideas and attitudes, is featured in RCC’s FireHouse Gallery.

Undressing Room
I am thrilled that my painting, Ken, will be displayed at Froelick Gallery this June as part of the “Undressing Room” show. It is one of my favorite galleries in the Pearl! Ken is an intimate reflection on a fellow artist whose inner life and spiritual philosophy profoundly influence his choices. The preview reception is June 6th, 5-8pm. If you cannot make it then, there will also be two First Thursday receptions, June 7 and July 5, 5-8pm. I hope you can join me!
Undressing Room is Froelick Gallery’s annual juried group exhibition and runs June 5 – July 14, 2012. As one of art’s most frequently explored subjects, the undraped figure has accumulated countless layers of meaning over the millenia, but what does the nude figure mean today? To see some different answers from more than 40 artists, don’t miss this show!
